Junior Infrastructure Engineer (with German)

Our requirements

• You have basic knowledge of cloud services such as STACKIT, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms and are willing to develop your skills in cloud administration.
• You have experience working with monitoring tools and understand best practices for customer communication and collaboration.
• You have knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures, particularly incident, problem, and change management.
• You demonstrate strong organizational and task management skills.
• You have a proactive mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
• You have worked with various operating systems and are comfortable using Linux/Unix command-line environments.
• Experience with highly available enterprise platforms is considered an advantage.
• Fluent knowledge of German language (B2+ level or higher).

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to maintain and support customer infrastructure, including cloud-based services and environments.
• Perform day-to-day operational and maintenance activities (RUN) to ensure service availability and stability.
• Communicate with customers through a ticketing system, following ITIL best practices for incident and service request management.
• Manage task priorities and coordinate assigned activities in accordance with agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Monitor customer infrastructure using dedicated monitoring tools, analyze alerts, and escalate issues when required.
• Work in cloud environments, and in text-based systems through command-line interfaces (CLI).
• Cooperate closely with other team members to troubleshoot incidents, resolve operational issues, and ensure service continuity.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing monitoring, operational processes, automation, and overall efficiency.
