Junior .NET Developer

Our requirements

• Basic knowledge of C# language, including object-oriented programming concepts (classes, inheritance, interfaces, encapsulation, polymorphism).
• Familiarity with .NET platform and .NET Core / .NET 5+ runtime, including creating and running console and web applications.
• Understanding of ASP.NET Core fundamentals: request/response pipeline, controllers, routing, middleware, and basic Razor Pages or MVC patterns.
• Experience with working on RESTful APIs: designing endpoints, handling HTTP verbs, status codes, and JSON serialization/deserialization.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core for data access: basic CRUD operations, DbContext, migrations, and simple LINQ queries.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ability to write basic SQL queries and understand database schemas.
• Exposure to source control systems, primarily Git: committing, branching, merging, pull/merge requests, and resolving simple conflicts.
• Basic unit testing skills and familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, MSTest, NUnit) and writing simple test cases.
• Understanding of dependency injection principles and ability to apply DI in .NET projects.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical documentation and requirements, and to debug basic application issues using logs and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of common development tools and IDEs, especially Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, including project configuration and debugging features.
• Familiarity with NuGet package management and using external libraries safely and appropriately.
• Basic understanding of web technologies: HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals and how they interact with .NET backends.
• Awareness of secure coding basics: input validation, handling sensitive data, and avoiding common vulnerabilities (e.g., injection, improper authentication).
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and accept feedback, and time management for completing assigned tasks.
