Lab Engineer (f/m/x)

Our requirements

• Ability to work from the client's office 5 days a week (on-site work)
• A valid Category B driving license
• Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Basic Linux knowledge and experience working in a command-line environment
• Experience configuring and managing Wi-Fi access points (various vendors/standards)
• Basic electronics knowledge, including the ability to solder and perform minor PCB rework
• Familiarity with safety practices when working with electronic equipment
• Comfortable using SSH for remote device configuration and debugging
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to document work clearly
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Optional

• Experience with test automation frameworks or CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with smart home protocols (Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Thread, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
• Knowledge of network analysis tools (Wireshark, iperf, etc.)
• Previous work in a hardware test lab environment

Your responsibilities

• Work from the client’s office 5 days per week (on-site work)
• Set up and configure new test beds for automated and manual testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues on existing test beds
• Perform regression testing on smart home devices and report results
• Configure and manage Wi-Fi access points and network environments for testing
• Perform basic rework on test-beds, including soldering and component replacement
• Access and configure test-bed devices remotely via SSH
• Maintain documentation of test-bed configurations and lab procedures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support new product testing needs
