Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience designing and implementing data models (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Lakebase).
- Experience with lakehouse technologies (e.g., Databricks, Unity, Spark, Lake Formation).
- Familiarity with agentic tools and processes: GenAI for data pipeline code, LLM for mapping and annotation.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes; strong SQL and scripting skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms; knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
Your responsibilities
- Design data models and metadata systems.
- Help principal data architects interpret an organization’s needs.
- Provide oversight and advice to other data architects designing and producing data artefacts.
- Design and support the management of data dictionaries.
- Ensure teams work to the standards set by principal data architects and in alignment with Architectural Council guidance.
- Work with other architects and engineers so systems are designed in accordance with the appropriate data architecture.
- Communicating Between Technical and Non-Technical Colleagues — Interpret stakeholder needs, manage expectations, handle active/reactive communication, and host difficult discussions with diverse senior stakeholders.
- Communicating Data — Choose the appropriate media and shape communications for the audience.
- Data Analysis and Synthesis — Undertake data profiling and source-system analysis; present clear insights.
- Data Governance — Evolve and define governance; assure and integrate data services across multiple business services.
- Data Innovation — Understand the organizational impact of emerging trends in data tools, techniques, and usage.
- Data Modeling — Produce models across multiple subject areas; apply industry-recognized patterns; compare and align models.
- Data Standards — Set standards across subject areas; act as escalation point for breaches.
- Metadata Management — Design metadata repositories, evaluate tools, and advise less experienced team members.
- Problem Management — Coordinate the team to investigate, resolve, and prevent problems.
- Strategic Thinking — Communicate how activities meet strategic goals; contribute to strategy and policy.

The minimum monthly gross compensation for this role is 25 760 PLN gross with final pay determined based on objective factors such as experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment.
This position is eligible for variable pay components, such as performance‑based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
