Our requirements
We are looking for an experienced architecture leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments and confidently influence technology direction at both strategic and operational levels.
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
▪️Extensive experience in IT, including at least 5 years in Solution Architecture, Lead Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles
▪️Experience leading large-scale, global transformation initiatives
▪️Proven track record managing complex application landscapes and consolidation programs
▪️Experience working within Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related industries
▪️Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and modelling approaches such as ArchiMate
▪️Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, integration architecture, security-by-design principles, and IT landscape management
▪️Ability to influence architecture decisions at programme and portfolio level
▪️Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Contract Logistics operations will be considered a significant advantage.
Your responsibilities
As our Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for driving architectural excellence across strategic transformation initiatives. Your key tasks will include:
Architecture Leadership & Strategy
▪️Lead solution architecture for strategic Contract Logistics transformation programs
▪️Define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and transition plans
▪️Drive application consolidation and technology landscape simplification initiatives
▪️Partner with Enterprise Architecture and domain teams to establish architectural standards and governance
▪️Ensure technology decisions balance business value, scalability, security, cost efficiency, and sustainability
Solution Design & Governance
▪️Translate business requirements into architecture blueprints and solution designs
▪️Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, integration principles, and business continuity guidelines
▪️Promote API-driven, reusable, and loosely coupled solution designs
▪️Govern complex integrations across modern and legacy platforms
Stakeholder Management
▪️Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders
▪️Present architecture strategies, recommendations, and roadmaps to leadership teams
▪️Support vendor assessments and technology evaluations
▪️Drive decision-making across global and cross-functional teams
Leadership & Mentoring
▪️Mentor Solution Architects and senior technical specialists
▪️Promote architectural best practices and reusable design patterns
▪️Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
Delivery & Risk Management
▪️Support delivery teams throughout the entire solution lifecycle
▪️Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt
▪️Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, resilience, availability, and cost optimization are addressed
Innovation & Modernization
▪️Drive modernization initiatives leveraging cloud technologies, integration platforms, automation, and AI
▪️Champion cloud-first, API-first, and microservices-based approaches where relevant
▪️Identify opportunities to standardize and simplify the Contract Logistics technology landscape
