Your responsibilities
- Configure, maintain and upgrade Linux-based systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure system security.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and reports.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to implement new technologies and system improvements.
- Conduct regular system audits and software upgrades.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies within the Linux and open-source environment.
Employer requirements
- A successful Linux Administrator should have:
- Solid knowledge in the administration of Linux server systems (ideally Debian and RHEL)
- A valid LPIC-1 or 2 certification is required
- Experience in the operation and management of a Certificate Authority (CA)
- Good knowledge in the administration of Windows Servers
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware and Hyper-V)
- Experience in project management
- Strong ability for self-organization and independent work
- Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
- Teamwork and communication skills, German language skills are appreciated
- Good English language skills, written and spoken
