  • Solid understanding of business and sales processes within a global, multi‑level organization; experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex process interactions and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
  • Good understanding of technical concepts such as Microsoft Windows environments, networks, and relational databases, including the ability to read and interpret XML and JSON structures would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs (GET, POST, PUT) and common data formats such as CSV would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • High customer orientation, proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the primary analytical partner for international markets using the Point of Sales system, supporting them in understanding system capabilities and translating their business needs into clear functional requirements.
  • Gather, structure, and evaluate market requirements, ensuring alignment with global sales processes and identifying impacts on existing functionalities.
  • Analyze incidents, defects, and market feedback to determine root causes from both business‑process and system perspectives, and provide well‑founded recommendations for solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and service providers to clarify requirements, validate solution proposals, and ensure that system enhancements meet business expectations.
  • Support markets in planning upcoming software changes and releases, including assessing readiness, reviewing scope, and explaining functional impacts.
  • Review and test system implementations, new features, and bug fixes from an end‑to‑end process perspective to ensure high quality and compliance with market needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirement clarification sessions with markets and cross‑functional teams to support aligned decision‑making and efficient delivery.

About the project

As a Business Analyst in the Mercedes‑Benz Vans digital sales ecosystem, you will work at the intersection of business processes, market requirements, and our global Point of Sales solution. In close collaboration with international markets, retail partners, and cross‑functional product teams, you will ensure that the POS system effectively supports our sales operations and reflects the diverse needs of our global network.
In this role, you will take ownership of understanding market processes, gathering and structuring requirements, analyzing incidents, and translating business needs into clear functional specifications. You will guide markets through system changes, support them in adopting new functionalities, and act as their primary analytical partner. By combining strong process understanding with technical insight, you will contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of our digital sales landscape.
You will collaborate with development, operations, and rollout teams to validate concepts, assess solution impacts, and ensure high‑quality system deliveries. Through data‑driven analysis and structured communication, you will help shape enhancements, support release planning, and provide recommendations that drive better user experience and system performance across markets.
