Mid Java Developer

Our requirements

• Around 3 years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and object-oriented principles.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Azure, including Web Apps, Storage, Key Vault, and basic Networking concepts.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Strong cross-discipline communication skills — comfortable working with engineers, DevOps teams, and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• A proven sense of ownership and reliability: you follow through, flag blockers early, and care about the quality of what you ship.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and developing backend services and APIs in Java, following clean code principles and best practices.
• Building and maintaining applications deployed on Azure Web Apps, with proper use of Azure Storage and Key Vault.
• Writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support reliable, automated delivery.
• Working with PostgreSQL to design schemas, write efficient queries, and maintain data integrity.
• Containerizing applications with Docker and contributing to consistent, reproducible deployment workflows.
• Collaborating actively with DevOps engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to align technical delivery with project goals.
• Taking ownership of features end-to-end — from design to deployment and ongoing support.
• Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to post-incident improvements.
• Contributing to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
