Our requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within enterprise environments.
- Practical expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, External Authentication Server, or Secure Proxy.
- Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols: sFTP, AS2, HTTPS.
- System administration skills on both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Fluent English language skills (interviews conducted fully in English).
Optional
- Broader experience with the IBM Sterling product suite.
- Experience working in a distributed, international team environment.
Your responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and operate IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and related components (Connect:Direct, External Authentication Server, Secure Proxy, Control Center).
- Manage and support file transfer protocols including sFTP, AS2, and HTTPS to ensure secure data exchange.
- Administer Windows and Linux environments, maintaining high availability and performance.
- Support vulnerability remediation activities and conduct application upgrades to enhance system security and stability.
- Execute disaster recovery exercises (DRE) to validate business continuity plans.
- Support change implementations, occasionally outside regular hours, including weekends if needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents to ensure minimal downtime.
