  • Strong experience with dbt (models, tests, macros, sources, incremental models, documentation)
  • Practical experience building and maintaining Airflow DAGs
  • Advanced SQL and solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
  • Working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
  • Experience with Flyway or other database schema migration tools
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools in data engineering (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) for code generation, testing, documentation, or code analysis
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, PR reviews, and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Experience working with multiple environments and a structured release process

  • Experience with data integration to CRM or customer data platforms
  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals and service management processes

Your responsibilities

  • Building and extending dbt models in Snowflake, following layered modeling conventions
  • Migrating and rebuilding legacy dbt models into the target architecture, including reverse-engineering complex, macro-heavy logic
  • Developing Airflow DAGs, including data quality gates that control pipeline flow
  • Ingesting seed and static files provided by business teams across environments, and clarifying naming, refresh cadence, and ownership
  • Implementing and maintaining data quality tests across all model layers
  • Triaging and fixing dbt test failures, pipeline failures, and bugs
  • Promoting code through environments via CI/CD, with PR review at each stage
  • Supporting Snowflake cost and performance optimization
  • Supporting incremental and CDC-based loads to downstream platforms
  • Maintaining documentation and metadata (column descriptions, data models, business terms)
  • Handling service requests, change requests, and incidents in a Jira-based delivery model
  • Communicating directly with client stakeholders, mainly technical but also business
  • Working closely with product owners, architects, and other teams to deliver prioritized work
  • Own design and migration decisions, such as mapping legacy models to target layers, orchestration and quality-gate patterns, and materialization strategy
  • Lead Snowflake cost and performance tuning
  • Review other engineers' code and guide technical standards
  • Represent the team in technical alignment with client and partner teams
Company

About the project

You will join a team of around 5 engineers delivering for a large pharma client. The team is part of a wider multi-team, multi-vendor ecosystem of around 20 people. The work centers on industrializing a governed Snowflake data layer that serves AI applications and operational consumers such as CRM and marketing platforms. It includes migrating a legacy dbt project into a new, standardized codebase built on a modern stack: Snowflake, dbt Core, Airflow, Flyway, and GitHub Actions. Parts of the target setup, including orchestration and the operating model, are still being defined, so you will help shape them, not just use them.

What we offer

  • Learning & development opportunities – after your probation period, you’ll have access to a highly flexible and generous English language reimbursement program, along with an individual development budget to use as you see fit.
  • Classic benefits like private medical care, a sports card, and a preferential life insurance plan. Plus, our infamous Fruit Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • A hybrid work setup with plenty of flexibility. Delivery teams work mostly remotely. Support teams come to the office at least once a week – as an HR team, we meet every Wednesday. On other days, you decide where you work.
  • A bunch of non-work activities, including Office Day (a fun-filled day when employees from all over Poland gather at the office), POP UP integrations, various competitions from cooking to photography, and the chance to submit charity causes to our CF4GOOD program, which provides support to those in need.
  • A workplace that values people and is built on collaboration, not competition. If you’re tired of toxic work environments, you’ll finally get a chance to breathe. And if you’ve been lucky with great employers so far, we’ll do our best to keep that streak going.

Benefits

  • sharing the costs of sports activities
  • private medical care
  • sharing the costs of foreign language classes
  • sharing the costs of professional training & courses
  • life insurance
  • remote work opportunities
  • integration events
  • no dress code
