Requirements

Our requirements

  • Experience with application migrations and an understanding of challenges related to data center migration
  • Knowledge of BMC Control‑M
  • Knowledge of Oracle technologies, including Application Express (APEX), Data Integrator 12c, Internet Directory 11g/12c, Forms 11g/12c, Reports 11g/12c, Rest Data Service (ORDS), Service Bus 11g/12c, WebLogic 11g/12c
  • Strong PL/SQL skills
  • Scripting skills in Perl/ Powershell/ Shell/ Bash/ Python
  • Experience with Rundeck/ Ansible
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
  • Ability to work with SMEs from various countries and clearly present technical scope, challenges and solutions
  • Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring and resilience for semi‑real‑time online transaction systems and mass transaction processing systems
  • Understanding of infrastructure, networking, load balancing and TLS
  • High responsibility, commitment to quality and delivering on obligations
  • Ability to share knowledge, collaborate effectively, find compromises and build positive relationships in a local and corporate environment
  • Ability to comply with the company’s office/ remote work policy (currently 5 days per week in the office)

Your responsibilities

  • Perform the role of Middleware Engineer for an application migration initiative within a large data center migration program
  • Support applications serving payment card acceptance/ acquiring and issuer processor business processes
  • Work within a three‑tier architecture environment and support an extensive Middleware layer critical for service migration
  • Collaborate closely with the FTS Application & Middleware Team to execute BAU tasks
  • Work closely with Project Managers to drive build, testing and migration activities, including preparing and placing infrastructure build, configuration or access requests and removing blockers
  • Diagnose and solve technical issues
  • Monitor environments for performance and reliability
  • Produce and maintain high‑quality live documentation in Confluence
