Your responsibilities
1. End-to-end New Activity Management process ownership
▪️Own and coordinate the end-to-end New Activity Management process.
▪️Act as the central point of contact for questions, guidance, and escalations related to the process.
▪️Coordinate the involvement of relevant business, risk, compliance, legal, finance, operations, and other stakeholders.
▪️Monitor the progress of new activity proposals and ensure that activities are completed within agreed timelines.
▪️Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals, and evidence are available throughout the process.
▪️Identify and escalate process gaps, and emerging issues.
2. Governance and control
▪️Maintain and oversee the New Activity Management governance framework, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation.
▪️Ensure that the process remains current and aligned with applicable internal policies and regulatory expectations.
▪️Ensure appropriate controls are embedded within the process and operating effectively.
▪️Monitor the quality, completeness, integrity, and timeliness of submissions.
▪️Support the preparation of management information and reporting on the New Activity Management process.
3.Credible challenge
▪️Provide constructive and independent challenge to business proposals and supporting documentation.
▪️Assess whether submissions provide sufficient information to enable appropriate review and decision-making.
▪️Challenge inconsistencies, gaps, unclear ownership, insufficient risk considerations, or incomplete documentation.
▪️Ensure that relevant stakeholders have been appropriately identified and involved.
4.Process improvement and simplification
▪️Continuously assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the New Activity Management process.
▪️Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and standardize processes and documentation.
▪️Lead or coordinate initiatives aimed at reducing unnecessary complexity and improving turnaround times.
▪️Gather feedback from stakeholders and translate it into practical process improvements.
5.Group coordination and best-practice sharing
▪️Work closely with Group stakeholders and relevant functions to understand and implement best practices.
▪️Support alignment of local processes with Group-wide New Activity Management standards and frameworks.
▪️Facilitate knowledge sharing across relevant teams and entities.
▪️Identify opportunities for greater consistency and standardization across the organization.
