Platform Engineer (Openshift, RedHat)

Our requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, including scaling, security and environment management.
• Ability to build and automate CI/CD pipelines, for example Jenkins or Git-based pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills and experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting and Infrastructure as Code, for example Python, Bash, Ansible or Terraform.
• Strong teamwork and version control practices, ideally supported by relevant platform, Kubernetes or OpenShift experience.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, model-serving platforms or GPU-enabled workloads will be an advantage.
• German language skills will be an advantage.

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage OpenShift clusters across multiple environments.
• Monitor and maintain cloud and hybrid environments in production.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of cloud and platform environments.
• Ensure the quality, security and reliability of cloud and platform environments.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools where they help streamline troubleshooting, configuration, documentation or platform automation tasks.
• Contribute to AI-ready platform patterns, including containerized workloads, automated provisioning and operational practices for teams using modern AI-enabled engineering workflows.
