Our requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related technical field.
- Practical experience with Network Design and Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI).
- Practical experience with Linux environments.
- Practical experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networking technologies.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex network environments.
Optional
- Around 2 years of experience delivering similar services.
- Experience with IoT technologies.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Experience designing network architectures.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks, including ControlNet, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting managed Ethernet switches and routers.
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 administration (AD, DHCP, DNS, RDP).
- Ability to perform effectively in demanding customer-facing situations.
- Knowledge of an additional European language.
- Availability to provide services within a shift-based schedule, including weekends.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver technical support services for customers and field personnel via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related incidents and technical challenges.
- Manage service tickets and document customer issues, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and recommendations.
- Apply Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the knowledge base.
- Support solutions related to industrial automation, controllers, operator interfaces, and network infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices.
- Support VMware-based virtualization environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, technical notes, workaround descriptions, and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of service requests and technical issues.
