QA Engineer

Our requirements

• Proven experience in test case design and execution, including functional, regression, smoke and UAT testing.
• Practical experience with defect management in JIRA and producing structured defect evidence.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and testing of multi-environment deployments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce clear technical documentation and test reports.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools, cross-browser and cross-device testing techniques.
• Working knowledge of version control (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience using Docker for local or containerised test execution.
• Comfort with agile delivery practices and collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Optional

• Exposure to QA automation basics, Selenium, scripting or automation experience, Maven/Java build tooling, and prior work on financial, analytics, or data-heavy SaaS products.

Your responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain test cases for functional, regression, smoke and UAT testing.
• Perform defect tracking in JIRA and prepare clear defect evidence and reports.
• Conduct API testing using appropriate tools and validate multi-environment behaviour.
• Apply exploratory and scenario-based testing techniques for data-intensive web applications.
• Test complex applications across browsers and devices using developer tools and analyse test reports.
• Collaborate with development and automation teams to maintain and enhance test suites.
• Work with version control workflows (Git, GitHub) and follow branching and pull request processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD and container-based test execution practices (Docker).
