SAP EWM Consultant

Our requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in SAP EWM implementations and consulting.
• Proven experience with EWM integration to S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, TM, QM) and with 3PL scenarios.
• Experience working with MES integrations and RF/mobile frameworks, including development or enhancement of RF screens.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes, production integration (PP‑EWM), physical inventory procedures, and testing practices.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
• Excellent documentation, training, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Relevant technical or functional SAP certifications or equivalent professional experience are desirable.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in all phases of EWM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and go‑live support.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to elicit business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications for EWM implementations.
• Design and configure EWM solutions to meet business requirements, covering warehouse layouts, put‑away and removal strategies, and optimal utilization of EWM functionalities.
• Integrate EWM with S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, TM, QM), third‑party logistics providers (3PL), and external systems such as MES; provide guidance on integration patterns and interfaces.
• Work with RF integration frameworks and contribute to development or enhancement of RF screens and related mobile solutions.
• Configure and optimise inbound processes, including goods receipt, put‑away, quality management, and returns, ensuring alignment with procurement and production flows.
• Design and implement outbound processes such as order fulfilment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping, incorporating diverse order types and transportation management considerations.
• Collaborate with production teams to integrate EWM with manufacturing processes (PP‑EWM), ensuring material flow, inventory management, and traceability in production environments.
• Define and implement physical inventory procedures, including cycle counting, ad‑hoc inventory processes, reconciliation, and variance analysis to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive system documentation, process flowcharts, and user manuals; deliver end‑user training to support adoption and effective use of EWM systems.
• Plan and execute testing activities (unit, integration, user acceptance) and identify and resolve configuration gaps, system defects, IDoc issues, and queue-related problems.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, project teams, and stakeholders; provide expert guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
