SAP FI Product Owner (I2P - Invoice to Pay)

Employer requirements

• 8+ years of overall professional experience in IT, or product delivery roles, ideally in complex global organizations
• 3 - 5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with proven ability to own and drive a product vision, translate business needs into product roadmaps and lead cross-functional teams
• 5+ years hands-on experience on SAP ERP FICO, exposure with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP system, with strong focus on SAP FI-MM integration, FI-AP, FI-APP modules
• Proven expertise in SAP FI and related financial processes (I2P, AP)
• Experience working with Basware or similar invoicing platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation.
• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Your responsibilities

• Own and drive the I2P (Invoice-to-Pay) Invoice Management product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, transformation initiatives, and IT & Data priorities.
• Manage the product portfolio, roadmap, and prioritization across multiple squads to maximize business value and long-term product sustainability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business goals into actionable product initiatives.
• Ensure backlogs reflect business priorities, user needs, and scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Business, and IT, aligning expectations, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, support teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate governance activities, including steering committees, OKR reviews, and performance reporting.
• Proactively identify risks, remove delivery blockers, and support issue resolution across teams.
• Promote product-centric ways of working and support the organization's ongoing transformation toward a Product Management model.
• Drive continuous improvement, establish feedback loops, and encourage best practices across squads and products.
• Support team development by fostering ownership, accountability, and a strong product mindset.
• Contribute to budget planning, cost optimization, forecasting, and financial governance for the I2P area.
• Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., Basware), ensuring service quality, contract compliance, and value delivery.
