What you will be part of:
The Financial Data Application (FDA) team within the Group IT Division, Data & AI is responsible for the central, group-wide finance data hub, calculation engines and posting platform of Helvetia. We run and continuously develop four core SAS-based applications:
- CDS (Common Data Store): A central finance data hub that consolidates, validates, and stores all relevant finance data from market units. It distributes this data to calculation engines and BAT, while also receiving and managing the calculated results.
- BAT (Baloise Accounting Transactions): A group-wide posting engine that generates accounting documents for SAP based on validated input from local units and calculation engines, and posts them directly into SAP.
- RIVA9: A solution that calculates IFRS 9 Expected Credit Losses (ECL) based on validated data from CDS, and returns the results to the respective source systems.
- SOLE (Solvency Processing Engine): A system that determines how assets should be assigned to accounts and in what amounts within the Extended Ledger for Solvency. It then generates transaction records, which are posted into SAP via BAT.
