About the project

Development - You will have the possibility to develop your ideas with other QA Engineers, across platform and technologies.
Interesting meetings – You will be a part of strategy planning sessions and internal meetups, dedicated for the technology solutions.

You will Create maintaining and constantly look for Automation improvements in the development, testing, and implementation process.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with both your team and other cross functional teams to plan and execute tests using the latest UI test automation technologies, processes and Tools to deliver frequently, safely and efficiently for millions of bank customers
  • Design and maintaining automation script suites of delivered functionalities
  • Create new/develop existing test automation tools
  • Perform system, integration and acceptance tests
  • Test applications embedded on the AEM platform (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Documenting test results by raising defect tickets and creating reports
  • Work closely, communicate and plan with BA, PO, APM and DEV
  • Ensuring that delivered functionalities are covered by automated tests on a proper level
  • Participate in engineering discipline, best practice and standards compliance within bank and global IT
  • Support other testers in the team
  • Contribute to the improvements of the testing process and automation frameworks as part of the wider QA & Test Community

Our requirements

  • Software development and strong coding skills (experience with Java and/or Typescript)
  • Understanding of reactive style of application development
  • Experience with test automation of UI
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of testing methodology
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Test frameworks support experience
  • Experience in the Agile Project
  • Hands on experience on Core Java, Selenium AND/OR
  • Hands on experience on Typescript, Playwright
  • Hands on experience on Cucumber, BDD methodology, Gherkin syntax
  • Hands on experience in any Java IDE (e.g. Eclipse/IntelliJ)
  • Hands on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins
  • Hands on experience in Jenkins
  • Good understanding of angular / react built UI
  • Good understanding of CI/CD
  • Working experience in Agile methodology / SAFe with ‘in-sprint’ automation
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

    Optional

  • Hands on experience on REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing
  • Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) an it’s working
  • Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax
  • Understanding of any API testing tools like – POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint etc.
  • Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements
