About the project

You will join the team of over 30 people, including 4 testers (manual, automated, performance). The team is responsible for testing various solutions for Danish society.
You will help develop and maintain STS (Stottesystemmer -> Support Systems) applications for our client KOMBIT who is representing Danish municipalities in IT sector. STS is the central message broker in the Danish municipal software landscape. The system handles and distributes information about different events between public citizen databases and case/benefit systems. The development team is multinational, with the bulk of development handled from Poland.

Your responsibilities

  • Defining test scenarios and test cases for new and existing features
  • Designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests for different solution areas
  • Executing tests and documenting deviations in the form of bug reports
  • Active participation in Refinements, Planning, and Estimation sessions within the Scrum Team
  • Explorative UI testing
  • Sharing QA practices with developers (teaching them how to ensure quality)
  • Working in close cooperation with solution architects, developers, and POs, gathering business knowledge, and supporting local teams of testers and developers

Our requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in functional testing
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in automated testing
  • Proficiency with SoapUI
  • Proficiency with Selenium
  • Experience in explorative UI testing
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (agile board)
  • Familiarity with Azure Test Plans (reporting)
  • Fluency in both English and Polish
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things
  • Strong communication skills

    Optional

  • Experience in Java
  • Experience with non-functional tests (performance, security, recovery)
  • Higher education in an IT-related area
