Senior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin, AWS)

Our requirements

• Proven professional experience as a backend or fullstack developer with strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin (Spring).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native design patterns.
• Demonstrable experience in API integration, event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Experience in architecture and system design for distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud security best practices.
• Operational experience consistent with a “you build it, you run it” approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across product, engineering and client teams.
• Desirable: experience with JavaScript (Angular) and familiarity with Salesforce APIs.
• Fluent English

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate backend services using Java or Kotlin and Spring framework.
• Develop and maintain integrations and APIs connecting multiple internal and external systems (including CRM and customer-facing applications).
• Collaborate with the product team to define service boundaries, data models interfaces that support the customer–vehicle lifecycle.
• Drive architecture and system design decisions for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Apply cloud best practices on AWS, including Infrastructure as Code and cloud security principles.
• Work with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka for event-driven integration patterns.
• Adopt a DevOps mindset: participate in build, deployment and run activities, and contribute to automation and operational readiness.
• Contribute to technical reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.
