- At least 5 years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in REST API design and development.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Good communication skills, comfortable engaging directly with customers.
- An AI-ready mindset with practical experience using chatbots and agentic approaches.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable REST APIs.

Your responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance REST APIs to support telemetry data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and improve development standards.
- Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Develop solutions that incorporate AI agents and agentic approaches for innovative delivery.
- Build, process, and expose product telemetry data from HSBC Tech applications.
