- 5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable services in Java and/or Go.
- Practical experience with AWS (EKS, EC2) and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of CPU architectures (x86 vs. ARM) and performance tuning for cloud-native applications.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
- Openness to occasional pre-scheduled evening calls (between 17:00–21:00 CET) to sync with US-based stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Refactor, optimize, and migrate core Java and Go services to run efficiently on ARM CPU architectures (AWS Graviton / Azure Cobalt).
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and hardware-level instruction behavior during x86 to ARM migration.
- Work with Kubernetes (EKS) to deploy, monitor, and scale migrated workloads in enterprise environments.
- Ensure seamless CI/CD delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform and AWS services.
- Collaborate closely with cloud architecture and platform security teams across global time zones.
