Senior Backend Engineer (PHP / OOP)

Our requirements

• Commercial experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience designing and building scalable systems.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive mindset, ownership, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Optional

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript or Python.
• Frontend experience or understanding.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to delivery.
• Write high-quality code with a strong focus on readability, testability, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and promote engineering best practices.
