Our requirements

  • Higher education in IT or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least six years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Basic experience with frontend development.
  • Practical experience with reactive programming and reactive stacks.
  • Working knowledge of the Spring framework and Hibernate.
  • Experience with behaviour-driven testing frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Proficiency with SQL, RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain backend APIs and services in Java with emphasis on reliability, scalability and maintainability.
  • Develop and enhance components within microservice and monolith architectures, applying domain-driven design and port-adapter patterns.
  • Apply reactive programming paradigms and reactive stacks to build responsive and resilient systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend colleagues, including teams using Angular, and with other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and delivery of features.
  • Author and maintain automated tests and support behaviour-driven development practices using frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews and continuous improvement activities to uphold coding standards and SOLID principles.
  • Manage source code and collaborate via Git-based workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior team members when required.
