Our requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in backend development and architecture.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or Architect with the ability to quickly understand a product and domain and begin contributing effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot (both required).
  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices; experience with infrastructure and Kubernetes is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Fluent English.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and deliver RESTful APIs that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other engineering teams to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
  • Work proactively to progress work when requirements are incomplete or evolving, taking ownership of tasks and outcomes.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and participate in DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations.
  • Engage in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to ensure maintainable and extensible solutions.
