Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

Our requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analytics. Exposure to AI-related projects and products is preferred.
• Effective Communication Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must.
• Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Attention to details with a strong focus on accuracy, data validation and data integrity. Focused on getting things done.
• Advanced Analytical skills. Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex data. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires quantitative skills and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Soft Skills. Ability to lead client-facing communications including requirements gathering, managing client’s expectations and maintaining relationship. Ability to effectively present information to variety of audience. Negotiations skills are preferred.
• Consulting: Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on data-driven strategies and AI solutions.
• Technical BI Skills. Highly skilled in dashboard design and development. Advanced Tableau skills are required. Proficiency in database technologies such as PostgreSQL is preferred.
• AI Integration: Understand and leverage AI technologies to enhance business processes and decision-making.
• Financial Knowledge. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
• Ethics and Responsibility. Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Respect other employees and work integrity. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
• Growth Oriented. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems and processes quickly. Highly self-motivated and showing initiative, flexible and collaborative.

Your responsibilities

• Create, maintain and adopt creative data visualizations and dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to derive actionable intelligence.
• Maintain, optimize and adopt other in-house Business Intelligence products and solutions to derive actionable insights and support decision making process.
• To participate in the whole cycle of analytics development from understanding Clients’ needs and strategies through data sourcing, data modelling and development of analytics in Business Intelligence software to hyper care, adoption and consulting.
• Perform project manager responsibilities for business intelligence projects for a variety of corporate and government clients.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data-related processes and analyses.
• Collect business and data requirements to ensure inclusion in the final solution.
• Assuring data integrity, business continuity and effective reports validation.
• Lead on problem solving team that develops recommendations based on data interpretations.
• Prepare formal presentations and/or written reports describing project methodology, scope, key assumptions, and results. Present progress and results to clients (both in-person and virtually) and collects feedback for revisions.
• Collaborate with CBRE’s Digital and Technology team to implement automated technical solution for business intelligence projects.
• To propose initiatives for improvements, advanced analytics, data visualization and analytics driven insights or AI adoption strategies for internal stakeholders and clients.
