Our requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (performance tuning, query profiling, optimization)
  • Solid experience with dbt
  • Very strong SQL skills
  • Good programming skills in Python
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable ELT pipelines
  • Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g. Apache Spark)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (especially for analytics / warehouse use cases)
  • Ability to design solutions independently and work with ambiguous requirements
  • Understanding of trade-offs, scalability, and system reliability

Your responsibilities

  • Design, build, and own scalable, production-grade data pipelines and architectures from scratch
  • Develop and optimize ELT processes in Snowflake, integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, external providers)
  • Model and maintain well-structured, performant data warehouse solutions in Snowflake
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and robustness (e.g. handling failures, deduplication, late-arriving data)
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate unclear business problems into scalable data solutions
  • Continuously optimize performance and cost (query tuning, warehouse sizing, clustering)
  • Build and maintain data services / APIs enabling reliable data access across systems
  • Take ownership of solutions in production, including monitoring, debugging, and improvements
  • Evaluate and introduce tools (especially within dbt + Snowflake ecosystem) to improve the platform
