- Strong commercial experience with Python and SQL
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow / Cloud Composer
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
- Experience with testing, including integration testing
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures

About the project
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a large-scale data transformation programme within a global media and streaming organisation.
You'll be working on modern cloud-native data solutions, helping to build and enhance scalable data products and platforms used across the business. The role combines data engineering, cloud technologies, automation, and platform development in a highly collaborative environment.
📍 Remote | UK-based Client (Media & Streaming)
🚀 Start: ASAP
📅 Long-term contract (6–12 months with possible extension)
🕘 Working hours: UK time (9:00–17:00)
