Our requirements
- Solid educational background in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong senior-level experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer building enterprise-grade web applications.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies (Vue, TypeScript) and API-based backend development in Python.
- Practical experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and handling schema migrations.
- Proven experience with automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and DevOps ways of working.
- Comfort and experience working across the full software lifecycle, including solution design, development, deployment, and support.
- Strong problem-solving skills, an ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently within a small agile team.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern frontend features using Vue 3, TypeScript, and Vuetify.
- Design, implement, and improve backend services utilizing Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
- Work with PostgreSQL and S3-based data storage to support reliable analytical workflows.
- Develop, operate, and maintain AWS-based cloud components (ECR, Step Functions, Lambdas, RDS, S3, and Cognito).
- Build and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance practices using GitHub, AWS CodeBuild, Playwright E2E tests, Vitest, and Pytest.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively improve platform reliability and performance using Grafana and CloudWatch.
- Collaborate directly with end-users, stakeholders, and the Product Owner across the full software lifecycle (from solution design to deployment and support).
- Bring strong software engineering discipline while developing an understanding of data analytics and complex scientific workflows.
