Developing, maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications running on the IBM i (AS400) platform
Designing and implementing solutions using RPG, COBOL, CL and DB2 technologies
Collaborating with business analysts, architects, testers and application specialists to deliver sustainable solutions
Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
Driving application modernisation, technical debt reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Providing L2/L3 support and assisting in incident and problem resolution for critical production systems
Contributing to integration initiatives involving APIs, messaging and surrounding banking systems
The role is based in Gdansk, Poland, with hybrid model of working. This is a permanent full-time role, and preferred starting time is between February and April 2026. Please indicate your local work permit in the CV.

Meet the Application Management team in International Corporate Branches (ICB) Technology. We add value by providing a fit-for-purpose analysis to design innovative solutions to create great customer experiences. As the Senior IT Developer, you’ll play a valuable role in designing, developing, maintaining and modernising business-critical applications within the ICB Hub technology landscape. You will act as a key contributor in transforming business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring stability, quality, and operational excellence. ICB Technology is a newly established Technology Area in Nordea Technology with the purpose to deliver technology services to our business stakeholders but also drive the business process automation agenda. Our team is a unique combination of different skillsets. Some are more technically-oriented to work with sophisticated data diagrams and others have stronger facilitating skills for coaching. You’ll join a team where people are the most important and work is not only a place to go.
