Our requirements

  • At least 5 years of strong hands-on experience in Linux administration
  • Very good understanding of system security, vulnerability fixing, patching, and hardening practices
  • Practical experience in scripting and automation, e.g., Bash, Python, or Ansible
  • Experience with Jenkins administration or support of Jenkins-based automation processes
  • Knowledge of Tomcat/JWS administration, troubleshooting, and operational support
  • Ability to analyze logs, diagnose incidents, and resolve technical issues independently
  • Good communication skills and readiness to cooperate with technical stakeholders in an international environment
  • Reliability, ownership, and a proactive approach to improving operational processes
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (2 days per week from the client’s office in Cracow)

Your responsibilities

  • Administering, monitoring, and maintaining Linux environments, with a strong focus on stability, availability, and security
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and application issues in Linux-based environments
  • Supporting vulnerability management activities, including patching, hardening, and remediation of security findings
  • Creating and maintaining automation scripts to improve daily administration and operational processes
  • Supporting Jenkins-related automation used for deployment, maintenance, or operational workflows
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting application server components, especially Tomcat/JWS
  • Cooperating with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational continuity
  • Analyzing logs, incidents, and monitoring alerts to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues
  • Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and security-related instructions
