Our requirements
- Senior-level programming skills in Python.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: Git, code reviews, testing, and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes basics).
- Hands-on experience with (or a strong technical interest in) LLMs and AI-assisted development (prompting, agents, tool use).
- Ability to read and understand code in several languages, including legacy code (e.g. Java).
- Analytical, structured approach to problem-solving; comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation.
- Fluent English and a collaborative attitude.
Optional
- Experience with Tekton, ArgoCD or other GitOps/pipeline tools.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code or similar) and agent frameworks.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, context engineering or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Background in legacy modernization, code migration or large-scale refactoring projects.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring, front-end stacks or other target application technologies.
- Previous experience working in a regulated or enterprise environment (e.g. banking/finance).
Your responsibilities
- Design, build and improve agent workflows, prompts and tooling that automate legacy code migration.
- Connect the AI framework to the CI/CD and deployment platform (Tekton, ArgoCD, Ansible).
- Work hands-on with agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Maister) and a range of LLM providers.
- Collaborate closely with application teams to turn real migration cases into repeatable, reliable automation.
- Keep the solution vendor-agnostic and maintainable, consistently applying clean-code and testing practices.
