- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of OOP and software design principles.
- Experience designing maintainable software or test architecture.
- Practical understanding of threading, multiprocessing, and concurrent I/O.
- Understanding of Python's GIL and its impact on I/O-bound and CPU-bound workloads.
- Hands-on experience with pytest.
- Working knowledge of NumPy, SciPy, pandas, matplotlib, and PyVISA.
- Strong engineering practices, including clean code, testing, and code reviews.
- Technical background in engineering, physics, optics, or a related field.
Optional
- Experience automating physical hardware or laboratory instruments.
