Our requirements
- MSc degree in Technology and/or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience with Blue Prism, being responsible for the system design and architecture
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer in other technologies
- Knowledge of the BluePrism logging system enabling building monitoring dashboards in Splunk
- Experience with automated testing of BluePrism bots
- Working knowledge of interacting with SQL databases, Python, and Java Web and REST applications, Enterprise Integrations tools (MQ, REST API)
- Strong technology background, hands-on experience in development
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Optional
- Previous work within the Financial or other heavily regulated industry
- Recent experience with Angular and Splunk
- Experience with a system upgrade, including regression testing
- Relationship with BluePrism/SS&C support personnel
Your responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on best practices for the chosen architecture and technology
- Act as a hands-on software developer to drive the code changes, best practices, design decisions, and development for the client's RPA products
- Design and develop distributed BluePrism bot systems used by internal clients
- Work with business users to define the non-functional requirements that meet their needs, accounting for scalability, testability, security, and resiliency
- Demonstrate critical thinking and drive application architecture and design decisions
- Define and implement documentation and code standards and practices for the team
- Identify issues and risks and proactively add to the iterative discussion
- Foster test automation and support monitoring pipelines in Splunk
- Conduct technical research and provide recommendations for upgrades of the technology stack in line with BBH and vendor-defined standards
- Guide and provide training to more junior team members
