Senior SAP BASIS Engineer (W/M)

Our requirements

• Proven experience as SAP Basis Administrator or in SAP Technical Operations
• Solid knowledge of SAP system architecture and SAP Basis fundamentals
• Experience with SAP HANA database operations from a Basis perspective
• Practical experience in system monitoring, performance analysis, and incident handling
• Understanding of transport management and system change processes
• Ability to work in a global, distributed team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English and Polish (written and spoken)

Optional

• Experience with cloud-based SAP environments
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, or technical optimization initiatives
• Experience in on-call or shift-based SAP support models

Your responsibilities

• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient technical operation of SAP systems (private Cloud)
• Perform SAP system administration tasks and coordinating SAP operations including system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Manage system start/stop activities, backups, restores, and basic disaster recovery procedures
• Support SAP transports, system copies, refreshes, and upgrades in coordination with functional and project teams
• Monitor and support SAP interfaces, background jobs, and batch processing
• Handle SAP Basis incidents, problems, and service request
• Coordinate technical changes and maintenance activities, including downtime windows
• Support SAP security from a Basis perspective (user administration support, authorizations coordination, certificates)
• Cooperate closely with infrastructure, database, cloud, and application teams
• Maintain SAP Basis documentation, operational guidelines, and technical procedures
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and technical assessments
