Senior Site Reliability Engineer with Computer Science

Our requirements

• at least 6 years of experience designing, implementing, and upkeeping cloud-based systems for web applications, data pipelines, or other services,
• deep experience with AWS or GCP and their best practices, and ability to leverage them to their maximum potential,
• experience with the Infrastructure as Code paradigm (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.),
• solid programming skills, regardless of the choice of technology,
• an urge to stay up-to-date with the newest cloud trends and ability to learn new tools and technologies very quickly,
• proficiency in maths, theoretical computer science, and the practical aspects of advanced algorithms,
• thorough experience in software optimization, networking concepts, and operating systems fundamentals,
• great communication skills (including English and Polish at a C1+ level),
• ability to lead a small team, organizing their work and priorities to match a client's business expectations.

Optional

• detailed knowledge of cloud service providers other than AWS and GCP,
• track record in competitive programming, computer science, maths, or physics olympiads,
• degree in theoretical computer science.

Your responsibilities

• designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems and developing specialized data-processing software,
• advising our customers and their development teams on cloud-native solutions and developing in-house utilities for managing cloud systems,
• providing (together with our Cloud Architects) technical and business guidance within projects, managing client relationships,
• solving unconventional technical challenges that nobody else can tackle.
