Our requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proven background in application support and/or software development within corporate or global environments.
- Solid hands-on experience with IBM iSeries and ILE RPG; knowledge of SQLRPG / RPG Free Format / API integration is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles.
- Fluent English (written and spoken), great communication skills for working with global teams.
Optional
- Knowledge of wealth management or banking processes is a plus.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver reliable production support during UK business hours, ensuring service availability per SLAs.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems, managing support tickets and prioritising backlog items.
- Perform BAU operational activities: data archiving, role swaps, backup/restore, security reviews, audits and upgrades.
- Contribute to Agile delivery: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing and deployment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with standards and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective issue resolution and continuous improvements.
