Our requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a polyglot mindset
- Hands-on development experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot preferred)
- Knowledge of functional, asynchronous, and non-blocking programming models
- Familiarity with modern concurrency models and reactive programming approaches
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and best coding practices
- Sound understanding of secure engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills with business-level English
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and working with distributed systems
- Exposure to security-focused tools and experience securing high-volume APIs
- Familiarity with API security concepts: authentication, authorization, and threat mitigation
- Strong background in test architecture, including end-to-end and performance testing
- Understanding of performance optimization, profiling, and automated testing frameworks
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications primarily in Java
- Review and validate solutions for alignment with internal engineering and security standards
- Champion high standards in software quality, security, and maintainability
- Implement comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, regression) for all changes
- Collaborate openly, solve complex problems, and improve developer productivity
- Contribute to efficiency improvements and enhance the developer experience
- Support knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced engineers
