Our requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software testing experience, including in complex web applications
  • Proven experience designing and owning test strategies, not just executing them
  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and test lifecycle, including CI/CD-integrated testing
  • Hands-on experience with test automation (Cypress or comparable framework)
  • Demonstrated interest in or practical experience with AI-assisted testing (tools, frameworks, prompt engineering for QA, or equivalent)
  • Sharp analytical thinking: you can break down complex systems and define meaningful coverage
  • Confident, structured communication in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives without day-to-day management

Optional

  • ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced)
  • Experience with SQL for data-layer validation
  • Background in regulated industries (pharma, MedTech, finance) or familiarity with GxP/CSV concepts
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • German language skills

Your responsibilities

  • Define and continuously evolve our test strategy, including coverage models, risk-based prioritization, and test lifecycle governance
  • Act as the quality advocate, collaborating with testers, developers, and product management to shift quality left
  • Mentor and support other testers in methodology, tooling, and best practices
  • Maintain and improve our testing documentation standards (test cases, defect reports, QA metrics)
  • Design, maintain, and execute test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Execute and triage regression suites within CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Git, Azure)
  • Identify, document, and escalate defects with clear, developer-actionable detail
  • Perform structured exploratory testing to surface usability and edge-case issues
  • Assess AI-assisted testing approaches: where they add value, where they don't, and how to roll them out responsibly
  • Evaluate and pilot AI-powered tools across the testing lifecycle (test generation, anomaly detection, regression triage, coverage analysis)
  • Develop internal guidelines and knowledge for AI-augmented QA, and transfer this knowledge to the team
  • Work directly with product leadership to define a mid-term AI-in-QA roadmap

We are looking for a Senior Software Tester who is ready to shape how we test, driving quality across the team, and pioneering the integration of AI into our QA practice. This is not a role for someone who wants to follow a defined testing process. It is a role for someone who wants to define it.
Please note: This position is only open to candidates based in Poland who are interested in working on a B2B (freelance) basis.
