Senior Systems Engineering & PLM Consultant with German

Our requirements

• Experience in engineering, particularly in the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, energy utility, or life sciences industries
• Experience in (partial) project management of complex transformation projects in an engineering environment
• Degree in engineering, IT, natural sciences or a related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of product development and its core processes
• Experience in strategy and organizational development in the field of engineering
• (Consulting) experience in the design, optimization, and implementation of processes in product development
• Capability to identify and drive measurable cost reduction across the product lifecycle
• Knowledge of (Model Based) Systems Engineering and Process Modeling description languages (SysML, BPMN) and/or relevant topics in the field of product lifecycle management (PLM)
• Enjoyment of combining technological understanding, strategic analysis, and the talent to think conceptually and implementation-oriented
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent English and solid German skills

Your responsibilities

• Today's market requirements pose major challenges for tomorrow's engineering. The development of complex products must be made more efficient and flexible at the same time. Teams must work together in a decentralized and interdisciplinary manner in order to implement new business models through product innovations at short notice. In this context, we advise our customers in the following areas to establish the necessary changes in terms of technology, methodology, and culture:
• Engineering transformation (strategy, processes, methods, and change management)
• Strategy & transformation for product lifecycle management (PLM/PDM) including optimizing processes, designing & implementing complex digital transformation projects
• Software & systems engineering including supporting the client in utilizing (Model Based) Systems Engineering, sharing industry best practices and adapting them to the client’s specific needs and tailoring selected tools to cover the defined processes and methodologies and creating demonstrators to visualize the tool usage
• Digital continuity, digital twin, connected value chain
• Cross-functional engineering collaboration (sales, manufacturing, procurement)
• Cost efficiency and cost reduction initiatives across engineering and R&D processes
