Software Engineer 2 - .NET - Allegro Klik/Care

Our requirements

• Have solid, hands-on experience with .NET and backend development, and are ready to apply it on production-grade systems
• Have practical experience with distributed systems and microservices; exposure to partner APIs is a plus
• Are comfortable working with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
• Want to be proud of the code they create; value high-quality code reviews and engage in substantive discussions on software engineering best practices
• Are eager to understand the broader business context and communicate effectively with internal clients
• Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and resilience, as you will be working with critical financial data
• Are enthusiastic about AI and are open to actively incorporating AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot) into their daily work to maximize efficiency and focus on complex problem-solving
• Can independently design and deliver effective solutions to the requirements set by business stakeholders, taking full ownership of the features they build from start to finish
• Are committed to continuous learning, open to constructive feedback, and embrace a growth mindset through active participation in code reviews, backlog grooming, team discussions and retrospectives
• Collaborate effectively within a team, share knowledge, and are willing to support less experienced teammates as the team grows
• Speak fluent Polish (essential for daily communication with internal and partner stakeholders) and communicative English (at least B2 level)

• AI-Adoption strategy: we invest a lot of effort to upskill our specialists and equip them with the newest AI coding technologies like Copilot or OpenCode.
• Big Scale: immerse yourself in the exciting world of Allegro Pay, where your .NET skills will tackle challenges on a large scale. You'll be contributing to financial solutions that affect over 2.5 million people (handling 60+ million requests daily and managing dozens of terabytes of data).
