- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with embedded operating systems.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience with Linux/Kernel development.
Optional
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Your responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for delivering Pixel kernels with a relentless focus on quality and velocity.
- Define team strategy, manage team project goals, and provide direct technical leadership for all team projects.
- Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role, meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching.
- Collaborate effectively with the global teams, set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
