Software Engineer (Node.js, Javascript/Typescript)

Our requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud application development using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing backend applications and services.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).

Optional

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Programming experience with Python.
• Programming experience with C#.
• Experience using Git or other distributed version control systems.
• Experience migrating applications or services between different technology stacks and programming languages.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native architectures and software design patterns.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Node.js.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Work as part of a self-organized Agile team responsible for building, owning, and operating the service.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality by following software engineering best practices.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of CI/CD processes.
• Support the migration, modernization, and continuous improvement of existing services and applications.
