Our requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, ideally with exposure to microservices or distributed systems.
- Practical experience with web scraping, including technologies such as Python, HTML/DOM parsing, XPath, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and working in an iterative team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to investigating and resolving technical issues.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly, give and receive feedback, and work effectively as part of an international team.
- Genuine interest in AI and its application in software development, including using AI as both a development tool and a potential solution to technical challenges.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web scraping solutions that reliably collect data from a wide range of online sources.
- Investigate scraping failures and adapt scripts as websites, structures, and technologies evolve.
- Build and improve backend services within a distributed microservices architecture.
- Monitor the health and performance of data collection processes and implement improvements where needed.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, continuously improving it through code reviews and collaboration with senior engineers.
- Work across the software development lifecycle, partnering with Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
- Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning from experienced teammates.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone with solid Python and web scraping experience who wants to deepen their skills in microservices, distributed systems, and large-scale data collection while gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex solutions.
