Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied computer science, software engineering, a closely related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 4 years of industry experience as a software test engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with common testing methods and tactics
  • Several years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) as well as testing web applications and web services
  • Excellent written and spoken English (at least CEFR level B2)

Optional

  • Master’s degree in computer science, applied computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
  • Experience with .NET and Angular
  • Comprehensive validation of installers (install, uninstall, repair, upgrade, downgrade, compatibility matrices, etc.)
  • Testing of custom PowerShell cmdlets
  • Concurrent programming with tasks/promises and threads
  • Experience with public clouds (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and common ways of deploying and orchestrating workloads (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, serverless, event routing, queues)

Your responsibilities

  • Owning the test strategy for software development projects for clipx ENGINEER
  • Contributing to the overall architecture with regards to testability and localizability in collaboration with the software architect
  • Creating and implementing test specifications for new product features as well as the required test infrastructure for automation
  • Maintenance of existing test suites and test infrastructure
  • Execution of test suites and reporting of results
  • Review of functional and design specifications as well as pull requests for features, tests, and test infrastructure
  • Mentoring of junior team members
  • Working with internal and external partner teams
