Specialist Engineer (AI)

Our requirements

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production systems.
• Advanced scripting/programming skills – Python preferred (Go/Bash/Java are a plus).
• Proven experience taking prototypes to production, ensuring security, resilience, and performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data/metrics for decision-making (SQL, telemetry, logs).
• Experience in Agile environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a global, multicultural team.

Optional

• Experience with AI/ML or GenAI solution delivery (model integration, RAG patterns, evaluation frameworks).
• Knowledge of Responsible AI practices and governance.
• Familiarity with containerized environments, CI/CD, IaC, and API gateways.
• Financial services or regulated environments experience is an advantage.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to identify and qualify AI opportunities using data analysis, operational insights, and process mining.
• Define clear problem statements, success measures, and risk controls.
• Rapidly prototype and validate AI solutions (PoCs/spikes) to prove feasibility and value.
• Harden solutions into production-grade features, integrating with existing platform services (APIs, data sources, monitoring).
• Apply best practices for security, reliability, and observability in production deployments.
• Develop reusable assets (templates, reference implementations) to accelerate adoption.
• Track performance with well-defined KPIs and iteratively optimize or pivot using evidence-based results.
