  • Experience in retail: you understand how stores, stockrooms and checkouts actually work
  • 3–5+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Application Owner
  • Hands-on experience with POS and/or in-store stock applications on handheld/mobile devices
  • Experience with enterprise-class POS/ERP platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, Oracle Xstore, or another tier-1 retail platform)
  • Experience supporting store openings / rollouts
  • Experience working with external software and hardware vendors
  • Working Polish and English

Optional

  • Electronic shelf labels (ESL), self-checkout (SCO) or payment-terminal integrations
  • MDM / store-device fleet management
  • Microsoft Fabric / DWH reporting on store data

Your responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for POS, the in-store stock app, and supporting store systems
  • Be the go-to partner for Store Operations, turning shop-floor needs into clear, prioritised work
  • Improve everyday store processes: goods receiving, inventory counts, stock adjustments, transfers, pricing and labels
  • Define the “store-in-a-box” standards and requirements so new-store openings, refits and closures run smoothly
  • Partner with Infrastructure and Network teams to ensure seamless hardware compatibility, store connectivity, and secure deployment of in-store systems
  • Manage POS and store-system vendors: backlog, releases, SLAs and cost
  • Keep POS compliant with Polish fiscal and payment requirements (kasy/drukarki fiskalne online, e-paragony, JPK)
  • Cooperate with 1st- and 2nd-line support on incident and problem management, and co-create support procedures to keep stores stable and resolve issues at the root
  • Track innovations and modern retail solutions, bringing forward improvements that add value while keeping total cost of ownership firmly in view

About the project

Our stores run on technology, and you’ll own it. As Store Systems Product Owner you’ll be the single point of accountability for the systems our shop floors depend on every day, managing the POS ecosystem across a network of hundreds of retail stores: the POS platform, the handheld stock-management app (HHT) our store teams use for receiving, counts and transfers, and the wider landscape of in-store systems and devices. You’ll also set the IT standards that make opening a new store fast and repeatable. You work directly with Store Operations, partner with Finance and our software/hardware vendors, and report to the IT Director.
This is a hands-on product role in a lean, fast-moving retail IT team. If you like being close to the business, owning a real backlog, and seeing your decisions live in every store, this is for you.
