  • Strong proficiency in writing scripts (PowerShell / Bash / Python) with a continuous drive toward automation, optimization, and AI-assisted operations.
  • Deep skills in privilege management, building security rules, managing permission sets, and establishing endpoint compliance.
  • The ability to transition smoothly from day-to-day operations to an engineering and systems-thinking mindset, mapping out the "big picture".
  • Strong time management and project management skills, with the capability to autonomously lead projects and seamlessly cooperate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Great teamwork abilities, minimum B2 English communication skills, and an orientation toward building long-term, supportive business relationships with internal clients and vendors.
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training combined with proven experience in a similar position.
  • Proactivity and a readiness for occasional business trips to work face-to-face with specialized teams across different company locations.
  • A strong orientation toward building long-term relationships with external vendors and effectively navigating stakeholders from both technical and business branches
  • Analytical thinking skills, proactivity, and a strong drive to identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes rather than just temporary patches

Your responsibilities

  • Designing macro-level architecture and blueprints for new systems, focusing on how different technologies integrate flawlessly, scale, and remain highly available.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of features and services, from initial requirement elicitation and analysis to final system deployment.
  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing proactive monitoring and alerting systems to stay ahead of potential infrastructure anomalies.
  • Automating troubleshooting processes and performing complex root cause analysis on distributed, large-scale systems.
  • Leading and executing key IT infrastructure migration, upgrade, and modernization projects across international environments.
  • Preparing, expanding, and maintaining clear technical documentation, procedures, and task tracking for complex systems
  • Collaborating closely with specialized domain teams across the organization, such as corporate network, security, and IT support.
  • Participating in a 24h on-duty rotation scheme - remaining available via phone and computer to resolve critical service issues outside of core working hours.

About the project

Our team drives the solutions that build a modern, secure, and resilient workplace ecosystem for Allegro employees across the whole Group. As a collaborative team of Systems Engineers and Systems Administrators, we develop the digital workplace environment, powering services such as endpoint management, printing, CCTV, corporate password manager, and many more.
We oversee the management, security, and health of all endpoint devices such as macOS/Windows workstations, iOS/Android mobile devices. Our scope also covers infrastructure and internal process automation using modern scripting, managing secure remote access, and scaling our virtual workplace infrastructure. We are also constantly exploring emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, to build smarter services.
We work in close collaboration with both highly technical and business teams across the organization, participating in various projects from requirements and system design to final implementation. Our ultimate goal is to create a seamless, best-in-class digital workplace environment that empowers our employees and drives Allegro's growth.
Important things for you
- Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
- Our team is mostly based in Poznan.
