Your responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated software testing of aviation systems, with a focus on aircraft performance and flight safety.
  • Design, execute, and document test cases based on system requirements and specifications.
  • Identify, analyze, and report software defects and support their resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and aviation domain experts to ensure the quality and reliability of the solution.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of test automation.
  • Support verification and validation activities for a safety-relevant aviation system.

Our requirements

  • Aeronautical knowledge or previous experience in the aviation domain is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester, Test Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with manual software testing.
  • Basic familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and demonstrate a proactive approach to assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in both software testing and the aviation domain.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken. (B2+).
  • Readiness to work in a hybrid model - 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

Optional

  • Commercial experience with modern C++.
  • Experience in test automation.
  • Practical experience with testing frameworks such as Robot Framework or Pytest.
  • Strong algorithmic and logical thinking skills.
  • Experience with testing software in a safety-critical or highly regulated environment would be an advantage.

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Tester / Test Engineer with an interest in aviation to join our team and contribute to the development of a Flight Safety Relevant Module .
This new module is designed to support the generation and validation of safe flight paths during abnormal and emergency situations. This mission-critical component continuously assesses factors such as aircraft status, environmental conditions, aircraft performance limitations, and available landing or diversion options to determine safe and executable trajectories.
The role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of software testing, aviation, and safety-critical systems, contributing directly to the reliability of solutions used to support flight operations.
